SOLAYA — French beauty-tech house

Beauty is a technology.
We turned it into an art.

SOLAYA designs beauty instruments worthy of the hands that use them — precise as a professional's touch, shaped like objects meant to be displayed.

Founded in 2022. Present in five countries. Two instruments. One obsession: that the professional gesture should no longer have an address.

Act I · The realisation

The best was locked inside salons.

October 2022. Camille Dubois comes home from yet another postponed appointment, sits at her vanity and studies the thirty-euro lamp she bought online — hollow plastic, uneven light, gel chipped by day three. After years around professional equipment, she knows the truth no one says out loud: it isn't the manicure that fails. It's the instrument.

So she went back to where the result is flawless. A year inside the salons, watching: spectra noted to the nanometre, timers clocked, the technicians' gestures repeated until they became obvious — and above all that precise moment when a client looks at her hands and smiles. That is the moment she decided to bring home. Not an imitation. The original.

12 months of observation · 47 professionals interviewed · 1 conviction

Before

Serious technology at the salon. Bargain tools at home. And someone else's schedule in between.

Appointments · Travel · €40–60 a session

With SOLAYA

Professional standards, at home. Your schedule, your hand, your light.

At home · On your schedule · Professional results

The distance between you and excellence was never a question of talent. It was a question of instrument.

Act II · The timeline

Four years. One direction.

The intuition

One postponed appointment too many. Facing a thirty-euro lamp that has just ruined yet another manicure, Camille Dubois puts words to the conviction that will become SOLAYA: professional standards should not have an address.

The research

Twelve months immersed in the salons. Spectra measured to the nanometre, timers clocked, 47 professionals asked about the instrument they were waiting for — and that no one offered them.

The engineering

Eleven prototypes. Eight rejected. A motor redesigned twice, a spectrum recalibrated to the edge of the measurable, months lost refusing "good enough". The version that finally bears the name LumiCore™ is the only one that conceded nothing.

The house

LumiCore™ enters homes in five countries. Then the promise is kept: PrecisionCore™, the professional nail drill, joins the collection. The house is written, gesture by gesture.

Act III · The method

Three standards. No exceptions.

A house is not defined by what it sells, but by what it refuses. Here are the three refusals that shape every one of our instruments — and why there are still so few of them.

01

Engineering first

Every instrument starts from professionals' specifications — power, precision, safety. The design comes after, never before.

108 W peak · 36 diodes · dual UV + LED spectrum

02

The object matters

An instrument used every week deserves to be beautiful. Deep black, copper, light: our codes are not decoration — they are a courtesy.

Deep black · copper · matte anti-mark finish

03

Results are the judge

Proven by experts, adopted by their clients. A gesture that breaks its promise does not carry our name.

47 professionals · 94% recommendation

Act IV · The manifesto

We don't sell devices. We hand women back the mastery of their beauty — at home, on their schedule, in their hands.

Every SOLAYA instrument is designed for ten years, not a season. It is slower. It costs more to build. It is the price of a signature.

What they say · what they confirm

As a trained nail technician, I'd be ashamed to recommend anything else. The power is genuine, the UV/LED spectrum perfectly calibrated. This is professional equipment in an elegant casing.

Emma B. — London

It's the first consumer lamp I'd recommend at my salon. The power is genuine, the curing even. My clients who bought one no longer book appointments for it.

Emma H.

Qualified nail technician · London

I've tested around twenty lamps throughout my career. LumiCore™ is in a different league. The dual UV/LED spectrum really makes a difference with difficult gels.

Camille T.

Nail training specialist · Lyon

Act V · The collection

The promise was written. Here it is, kept.

The house of SOLAYA is written instrument by instrument. Light first — LumiCore™. Then precision — PrecisionCore™, born of the same brief and the same intransigence. Every piece meets the same standard, or does not exist.

We could have launched ten products. We launched one, then a second — each made flawless before it earned the right to exist. Care will come. Every gesture will arrive when it is worthy of the house's name, not before.
